OHB Italia is looking for a highly skilled Professional to join our #Satellites & #Mission Department for an immediate start. This is an exciting opportunity to work in the space sector and lead cutting-edge structural engineering projects for satellite systems.
KEY RESPONSABILITIES:
đšÂ #Leadership & #Coordination: Lead and coordinate a team of engineers, ensuring technical requirements and budgets are met throughout the project lifecycle.
đšÂ #EngineeringSolutions: Develop and maintain structural technical baseline solutions based on customer requirements, ensuring efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
đšÂ Finite Element Analysis (#FEA): Create and maintain FEA models for static and dynamic structural analyses, and use tools like Hyperworks, Patran and Nastran for pre- and post-processing.
đšÂ #Testing & #Validation: Develop test plans (e.g., acoustic, shock, static load tests) and lead test campaigns, ensuring model validation and successful integration.
đšÂ #Collaboration: Work closely with other engineering disciplines and technical management to ensure successful project outcomes.
đšÂ #SubcontractManagement: Oversee technical management of subcontracts, ensuring quality and compliance.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS:
đ University degree or PhD in #Physics or #Engineering, with 10+ years of #experience in structural design, development, and verification for aerospace.
đĄÂ Proven #leadership skills with a focus on solution-driven progress.
đ Excellent #communication skills, fluent in English (other languages are a plus).
đ§Â In-depth knowledge of #structuralengineering principles and tools (MATLAB, Python, FEA).
đ Ability to work under schedule pressure and manage large technical projects from start to finish.
