18.10.2021 – Institutional visit yesterday at #OHBItalia of the Italian Minister for Technological Innovation and Digital Transition Mr. Vittorio Colao and his Chief of Staff Mr. Stefano Firpo. The #spaceindustry has a long heritage in our country and OHB Italia, with its 40 years of activity, is an essential and representative player with renowned system integrator capabilities which the delegation had the opportunity to assess through a visit of the integration and manufacturing facilities.
 
During the meeting OHB Italia management had the opportunity to discuss with the Minister several topics of great interest among which the system competences and technologies developed by OHB Italia in the fields of ‘In Orbit Servicing’ and ‘Space Situational Awareness’; the ongoing development of the #FLYEYE telescope and of the #URANO constellation with high revisit timing and several applications from persistent intelligence to land monitoring untill business solutions. Last but not the least, the NAOS satellite, a very high resolution multispectral optical satellite, which is a very important program of LuxMod.
